Success Stories: •Provided project management expertise by working closely with Directors, Project Managers, and stakeholders in the Government Records Branch of the Library and Archive Canada. Responsibilities included creating, maintaining and reporting on many separate project plans, producing reports, follow-up, dissemination of information, and training in project management. Was able to balance between all of these various, confidential and complex projects showing the ability to prioritize and control workflow. Had been able to work with people of varying experience in project management, while ensuring their input was listened to and respected at all times. Had played a key role towards completing the myriad of activities on projects to complete €œAssessment Projects€? as committed to the Assistant Deputy Minister task force on Record Keeping.
•Within the Postal Modernization team at Canada Post, reviewed and made major modifications to a Labour Standards documentation that was used for the consultation process
•Worked with the International Business function (worth $1 billion annually to Canada Post), created the document which determined where the location for the Exchange Office of the future should be. This task involved amalgamating information from many sources within Canada Post and Canada Border Services Agency in order to ensure that the solution would provide the most efficient flow of products into and out of Canada. Upon completion of this document, process charts were created to track the existing flow of product entering and leaving Canada. These charts will be used as a foundation for determining the future state of the International Business operations. Having three new locations for the Exchange Office, not only involved in the technical aspect, but also the Project Management portion of the initiative as well.
