Success Stories: 1. The commercial grade Data Acquisition Card that Global VR was using for their arcade video game systems perpetually exhibited reliability and performance problems. This made it very difficult for Global VR to deploy their systems into top tier locations with confidence, and so they approached Nytric, seeking a total solution. Nytric's solution was both technically superior and considerably less costly.
2. Nytric was approached by ZAPiT to develop an interactive game console that would permit up to six players to simultaneously play interactive games directly on the existing home television. Working with technology partners National Semiconductor and Panasonic, Nytric came up with the revolutionary approach of using available low-cost technology to create a game console.
More than two years of extensive research and development lead to a revolutionary new design of game console that not only utilised, but also extended the available DVD technology and integrated with it, the ability to simultaneously use up to six hand-held TV-type remote controls.
Nytric managed the product from concept through design to manufacturing, created new game engines, software libraries, built a proprietary operating system, and hardware.
3. Motion Analysis Corporation (MAC) approached Nytric to develop an advanced data glove with some very demanding specifications. Not only does the product accurately measure finger bend movements, it also measures finger aduction and abduction, the full range of thumb bends and motions and is extremely lightweight, it also has an extended wireless range and is easily cleaned. With one size fitting almost any hand, and a rechargeable battery, this is one of the most advance data gloves available today.
4. In 2002, the founders of Autowraptec approached Nytric with a unique concept, a machine for the restaurant industry that could automatically wrap and band silverware in a table napkin.
Nytric took the concept and, after considerable painstaking research and innovative design, what resulted was "It's A Wrap", a state-of-the-art, fully automated machine that wraps and sterilizes utensils straight from the washer.
