Success Stories: Queensway Cathedral needed some orchestration work done with a three week turnaround. Music Village took four songs for a mid size orchestra and made arrangements and music charts in time for a production viewed by over 10,000 people.
The Oakville Symphony Orchestra wanted to reach a younger generation. They called Music Village to take four well-known classical pieces and arrange them in modern styles of music. We used jazz, salsa, and R - B forms to give these songs a fresh take. Music Village went in and gave a workshop to high school students to show them how classical music is appearing all the time in the media that we are exposed to. The students learned that good music is good, regardless of genre.
Ardent Pictures was in a bind. They needed three original songs with a Latin flavour for a film that had been invited to a festival in Orlando, Fl. Music Village writers composed three songs and recorded them in time for the festival. The film has gone on to appear in five film festivals, and Music Village recorded all the original music for the film, "the Devil's Tail."
