Ahtsik Native Art Gallery is owned and operated by Tseshaht artist Gordon Dick. Located along the Pacific Rim Highway on British Columbia€™s beautiful west coast, the gallery houses original works by Nuu-chah-nulth artists as well as artists from other First Nations tribes in Canada. The mediums and styles represented are varied – Carved jewelry in silver, gold and semi-precious stones, wood carvings (totems, masks, bentwood boxes, rattles, panels), weavings, photographs and prints. A multi-medium artist, Gordon also creates structural and decorative pieces for homes such as doors (wood or sandblasted glass), posts, panels and security gates. Custom orders are welcome.

Testimonial: On August 16th you were kind enough to open your gallery at 9 a.m. because we had pulled up in our car. We bought a print and a "cuff" or bracelet. We love the two pieces of art, and we agree that your gallery, although small, contained the highest-calibre collection of First Nations' art that we saw on our trip to the Island. And getting to play with your dog was a bonus for us.
Thanks for going out of your way to open the gallery for us. We'll visit if we are ever back in the area.
Wishing you continued success,

I had heard Gordon Dick was the best Nuu-chah-nulth metal carver, so I asked him to carve a silver bracelet for my wife. I was impressed by the amazing design and deep, confident detail. Gord went out of his way to make sure I had the bracelet in time for Christmas. Later, my wife Andrea heard about Gord€™s wife, Geraldine (GerArt), who is also a jewellery artisan. Now Andrea is a fan of Gordon and Geraldine, and gets compliments whenever she wears their creations.

For more years then I can recall, I had been in search of a piece of Native Art that would be a celebration of the medium and the artist. On a chance encounter at an exhibition in Nanoose Bay, B.C., I came across the works of Gordon Dick. His patience and deliberate manner in expressing his vision within each piece of artwork captured my imagination and my heart.

I commissioned Gordon Dick to create a piece of jewellery for my wife's 30th birthday. It was a bracelet with a raven motif in the Nuu-chah-nulth style. Gordon listened attentively to what I was looking for and then after offering several creative suggestions, he created an elegant, delicately crafted bracelet that my wife now hopes to one day pass on to her daughter.
Gordon Dick is a gifted artist with a creative insight and an impressive command over several artisitic disciplines. He would be my first choice the next time I was looking for a piece of art for my home or a loved one.
Best of luck,
Steve Johnston

I found Gordon€™s art work while surfing the internet and was immediately drawn to his unique and beautiful combination of bold and fine detail. I had checked out many artists and found Gordon€™s work to be in a class of its own. Gordon worked with me to design a custom engagement bracelet, wedding bands and a pendant. He had exceptional talent in working with me to capture my wishes through his artistic interpretation. And, in doing so, Gordon created works of art that we wear with pleasure and pride. Thanks Gordon.

As soon as I saw Gordon Dick€™s work at a First Nations Art Show in our area I knew I wanted him to design a gold ring for me. When I met with Gordon he provided me with several options for the ring and we finally settled on a kingfisher design. Gordon€™s attention to detail and styling resulted in a one of a kind ring that is not only very beautiful but exceeded my expectations. I have received many compliments and comments on this ring.
Thanks Gordon,
Fran Lacroix, Coombs, BC
