SWITCHING SERVICES: For over 9 years, ATI personnel have been supporting the second
largest manufacturer of telecommunications equipment in North
America in the Engineering, Commissioning, Regression Testing,
Feature Testing and Maintenance of captive digital switches in
research and development lab environments worldwide.
For over 10 years, ATI has been providing Project Managers,
Digital Switch Commissioners and pre/post Cut-over Support
personnel to large digital switch manufacturer on project sites
worldwide.
ATI performed an independent audit of Network Validation Tests
and verified site compliance with approved installation
standards of a DMS 100/200 switch for a large Canadian
Competitive Access Provider in preparation for integration into
their network.
ATI recently prepared class 5 switch translations for a
Competitive Access Provider in the northwest USA.
ATI is currently supporting a US company in the integration of
their predictive dialing equipment into local telephone company
networks in locations worldwide.
TRANSMISSION SERVICES: For over 8 years, ATI has been providing Transport Systems
Testers and Installers for SONET and DACS equipment to the
second largest long-distance carrier in the USA. Currently
providing Planners, Project Managers, Senior Testers, Installers
and Engineering services for transport systems network sites to
several Competitive Access Providers throughout the USA.
ATI performed an independent audit of Network Validation Tests
and verified site compliance with approved installation
standards of SONET equipment for a large Colorado Competitive
Access Provider in preparation for final verification and
acceptance by AT - T.
Since 1990, ATI has been supporting a telecommunications company
in Bangkok, Thailand with Program Management, Engineering and
Operational support services. ATI personnel were responsible for
the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a
countrywide fiber optic network consisting of transport and
switching equipment, as well as the design, setup and operation
of a world class Network Management Center.
ATI is supporting the parent company (CIENA Corp.) in the
engineering and integration of their products (Dense Wave
Division Multiplex equipment) into new and existing fiber optic
networks in locations worldwide.
ENGINEERING SERVICES: ATI provided Outside Plant Engineering personnel to a Canadian
software design company to facilitate the conversion of existing
outside plant records of a major Canadian telco from a manual
record system to a computerized record system.
ATI conducted a Telecommunications Feasibility Study for a city
in Colorado. The study included a business analysis of building
a new fiber based network to serve the city€™s communication
needs, as well as consideration for providing high-speed
services to business and residential clients. Design engineering
was provided to develop project budgets and full financial
models were presented along with the business case analysis and
recommendations. As a result of the study, the city has decided
to proceed with building portions of the network and ATI has
been retained as consultants for the implementation phase.
ATI provided design engineering and construction supervision of
a redundant fiber optic ring in downtown Oakland.
ATI prepared a feasibility study for a fiber optic system along
a proposed pipeline in Libya for a major North American oil
company.
ATI completed a feasibility study for construction of a fully
redundant back-up operations control center, a switching office,
and the preparation of a business plan for the development of a
disaster recovery program for a large utility company in the USA.
OUTSIDE PLANT SERVICES: ATI engineered and designed approximately 70 miles of fiber
optic cable plant and building entrances, including backbone
routes and distribution loops in Reading and Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania. Services included route selection, preparation of
detailed construction plans, interface with a local power
company and municipal authorities and preparation of all permit
applications.
ATI provided design and construction engineering of 300 miles of
cable along interstate right-of-way in Texas for a long-haul
carrier. Design engineering included preparation of detailed
construction plans, permit submittals, identification of
material quantities, units of construction and preparation of
bid documents for the construction of the network. Construction
engineering included field staking of the route and coordination
of sub-contractor's activities.
ATI is currently providing outside plant design and building
entrance engineering services for a customer's fiber optic
network in Cleveland and Akron, Ohio. Services include
interfacing with the local Power Company, municipal authorities
and preparation of all permit applications.
ATI has provided up to 100 outside plant personnel for cable
splicing and cable repair services to one of the largest RBOCs
in the USA for the past two years.
ATI designed and installed approximately 60 miles of fiber optic
cable plant consisting of aerial and conduit placement between
Denver and Colorado Springs.
ATI is providing design engineering and preparation of CAD
construction plans for a 40-mile fiber optic network in Mobile,
Alabama and construction of a 10-mile segment, connecting the
customer€™s hub to three long distance carriers.
