Benson Steel Limited (BSL) is a privately owned Company founded in 1980. BSL offers the design, supply, fabrication, delivery and erection of structural steel for domestic and international construction markets. The company's full-time and contract staff consists of more the 25 specialists who are complemented by experienced project managers, engineers and a highly qualified labour force.
Our company is committed to supplying a quality product, on schedule and at reasonable prices. Our quality is among the highest in the industry. We are proud to announce that we are certified to ISO 9001/2000 as well as the CISC Quality Assurance Program. These programs are usually complemented by the owner's/engineer's use of quality inspection companies to give an independent assessment. We believe our experience, reputation of integrity and competence in dealing with our customers, will allow us to be of complete service in meeting your structural requirements.
BSL manufactures columns, beams, girts, purlins, trusses, plate girders, bracing and other client specific structural items for new construction and/or retro fit of existing buildings and structures. Steel is manufactured using standard and/or custom profile shapes to suit the most modern structural and architectural designs.
Our plant and office are approximately 38,000 square feet in size, located on 3 acres of land in the town of Bolton, just northwest of Toronto, Ontario. Due to our location we have excellent access to major highways and overseas ports. BSL has produced and shipped materials for export to the United States, Dominican Republic, Israel, Tanzania, Bermuda and other parts of the world.
BSL is a member of the Canadian Welding Bureau and the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction. As a member of the CISC we have access to the world's technical information as the CISC is active and recognized in the United States, United Kingdom, Mexico and many other world markets.
Galvanizing and special paint systems are available upon request for environmentally sensitive projects.
BSL is interested in serving the Ontario market as well as extending its market to other areas in Canada, United States, Mexico, The Caribbean, The Middle East, South America, Africa, Asia and Europe.
