CDP Communications has provided important print products and
services since 1984.CDP's initial mandate was to provide products

document solutions. Some solutions such as the cdpScript and
AFPDS device driver products let customers produce typeset pages
on high speed laser printers using programs such as Aldus
Pagemaker and Ventura Publisher. CDP was the first provider of
applications that transformed Postscript print data streams into
Xerox metacode and IBM AFP data streams. CDP was the first
company to provide the ability to create AFPDS data streams from
Windows applications. CDP was the first company to provide the
ability to printPostscript on Xerox metacode and IBM AFP

applications. When Windows 3.0 became available, CDP provided the
first product that could view AFP documents with complete
