The Canadian Paraplegic Association, over the past eight years,
has become involved in the delivery of projects to assist people
with disabilities in developing countries.
By all accounts, including Canadian International Development
Agency staff, these projects have been very efficient and
successful in their delivery with sustainable implications in
the country in which they are delivered.
The mandate of the Canadian Paraplegic Association, in Canada,
is directed mainly towards individuals with spinal cord
injuries, however, our projects in developing countries are
delivered to and impact upon all people with disabilities,
including landmine victims.
