The Canadian Technology Human Resources Board (CTHRB) is a not-for-profit alliance of industry and educational institutions representing the interests of all partners in the technology workforce.
The Canadian Technology Human Resources Board (CTHRB) campaigns for the creation of the world€™s best workforce in the engineering and applied science technology sector, on behalf of both the people themselves and the organizations that employ them. The CTHRB develops this talent through: Labour Market Analysis, to throw light on issues like workplace skills' requirements, workplace environments, demographic distribution of skills;
Standards Development and Maintenance, to sustain the high quality of the workforce;
Career Awareness, to stimulate interest and enrolment in technology careers;
Employment Facilitation, to enhance the linkages between employers and workers; and
Public Relations and Advocacy, to create appropriately strong impacts on public policy.
These activities will accelerate the development of Canada€™s technology workforce, by balancing labour market supply and demand, increasing the value of the sector€™s contribution to the Canadian economy, and creating the world€™s most competitive engineering and applied science technology sector.
