1867 Confederation Log - Timber Frames€™ standard kit is a €œclosed in shell€?, that means your structure will be secure when the package is erected. The log portion of each home manufactured by 1867 Confederation Log - Timber Frame is assembled in the factory prior to being shipped. This is to ensure the accuracy of the extremely tight tolerances of the logs, and pre-drilled holes that accommodate such things as electrical wiring, hardwood dowels around door and windows, or thru-bolts. The logs are numbered so that they can be easily be erected on site as they are unloaded from the truck. Erection of the logs does not require a crane.
