Dagaz Environmental Inc. is the daughter company of Sunset Solar Systems Ltd. – the original designer, manufacturer, and distributer for the Little River Pond Mill circulators since 1983. Dagaz began its life as the Environmental Management Division of Sunset Solar Systems Ltd. in 2003 as the need for a more environmental focus was required. As part of the family business succession, Dagaz incorporated as Dagaz Environmental Inc. in 2006, and officially began operations in January of 2007. Dagaz Environmental Inc.€™s initial purpose was to provide environmental consulting in the water and waste water industry as well as be the primary sales outlet for the "Little River Pond Mill" circulator; transfer of manufacturing responsibilities to Dagaz from Sunset are ongoing. Although neither Dagaz nor Sunset are directly certified as ISO 9000 or 14001, the principles of each are gradually being implemented into Dagaz€™s policies as the business transfer evolves.
Although Sunset Solar Systems Ltd. had an extensive dealer/rep network, the move away from dealers and reps to provide a better and more uniform customer service experience was implemented in 2007 by Dagaz Environmental Inc. Although Dagaz doesn€™t presently have existing dealers/reps, we are presently conducting a review of the entire process and we do invite interest from qualifying corporations.
Dagaz Environmental Inc.€™s objective is to produce and provide a high quality, environmentally sustainable product at a reasonable cost to the consumer - all the while promoting a reduction in the client€™s environmental footprint. The manufacturing, and local and international marketing/distribution is presently conducted out of Saskatchewan, Canada. Consulting on surface water and waste water as it pertains to the environment and/or agriculture, regulatory compliance, testing services, and education are available through Dagaz, as well as consulting advice on reducing your personal or corporate environmental footprint. Dagaz Environmental Inc. is a member of the Saskatchewan Environmental Industry - Managers Association (SEIMA).
"Little River Pond Mill" circulators are biostimulation equipment used to naturally bioremediate/clean surface waters and waste waters. They can be part of a greenhouse gas emissions reduction program and besides promoting enhanced biomass production in digestors, they can be an integral part of an energy consumption reduction program in various industrial, municipal, livestock, and commercial water and waste water treatment processes. Due to the natural biological and chemical processes the equipment stimulates, the circulators provide an environmentally sustainable method of reducing pollution loading, biological and chemical oxygen demands, suspended solids, and eutrophication in surface waters, and assists in enhancing dissolved oxygen values and the purity of water and waste water. They are used in various applications such as oil and gas, mining, food processing, municipal and livestock waste water treatment, chemicals mixing, and recreational surface waters – just to name a few. The circulators are available in wind powered, electric - solar powered models in painted and stainless steel to meet various consumer needs, and have been benefitting the lives of many individuals and corporations for almost 3 decades.
