EXPERTISE IN GEOMATICS
DBx GEOMATICS has been involved in geomatics for 17 years now. DBx GEOMATICS is an industry leader in the development of interactive web mapping applications. We offer web-based products and services for the development of innovative, user-friendly and effective geo-spatial applications.
We have been building business related GIS applications and solutions for different clients, using MapInfo software as the engine (MapInfo Professional, MapBasic, MapInfo MapX, MapInfo MapXSite,
MapInfo MapXTreme, etc.)
N.B.: for more information on Mapinfo software and related products, see MapInfo Corporation
Developing with Adobe Flash, DBx GEOMATICS created CartoVista, a software solution that combines best in class vector-based web mapping and state-of-the-art thematic display. Using Adobe Flex and CartoVista, dynamic dashboard applications can be developed rapidly with high quality data visualization. Having strategic data displayed in innovative and meaningful ways, government and businesses can analyze key performance indicators for decision making while deploying rich web-based cartographic content.
Different programming languages (like Mapbasic, Microsoft Visual Basic, C++, Active Server Pages, Macromedia Flash, etc.) are used to customize the user-interface and put the application's functionality in the users hands. The type of application we have developed varies a lot, ranging from simple geocoding utilities to Environmental Analysis GIS and www-based mapping applications. We also have
great knowledge of existing Canadian digital data, both in terms of structure availability and costs.
Our team of professional geomatics experts can help you get the most out of geography, very quickly !
Here are some samples from specific GIS applications that we have developed with different client.
