At Derksen Art - Design we offer convenience, knowledge and experience, value and affordability in print design, book production and interior decoration.
We make it easy Â…
Convenience – We make it easy for you by working around your schedule. Prefer an evening meeting? We can do that. Rather communicate online? No problem. We come to you and look after coordination with all third party service providers (copywriter, image bank, photographer, commercial printer).
Knowledge - Experience – Foundational experience from a small to medium-sized business perspective has provided us with first-hand knowledge that brings depth to the creative process. In addition, our ability to efficiently take a project from concept to completion is supported by a thorough understanding of the commercial print industry. Matching the specific requirements of a project to the right printer can lead to substantial savings for you.
Value - Affordability – Our rates are affordable and we offer free estimates. Each project is quoted separately and is often preceded by a discovery meeting where needs are identified and important parameters are established. Every job is unique and usually contains multiple variables relating to size, scope, image requirements, paper type, print quantities, etc. Direct billing by most third party service providers ensures that you do not pay additional markups.

Success Stories: The Town of Rocky Mountain House Alberta had a bicentennial celebration coming up and hired us to help them pull together a history of their town. Once completed, the town was presented with a fascinating hardbound publication. The jacket features an impressive aerial photograph of the North Saskatchewan River with the Town of Rocky Mountain House in the background. Containing 576 pages of text, photos, original art, maps, and 32 pages of colour images, the release of this book brought the area's bicentennial celebration to a fitting conclusion.
