Detec provides the technology and services to monitor buildings for water intrusion and moisture accumulation in hidden areas of the building envelope.
Specifically, the Detec system will extend the service life of buildings as well as materials and resources by detecting and reporting hidden moisture intrusions. Our system monitors, 24/7/365, for moisture intrusions into the building envelope, into access flooring areas, at the wall and roof penetrations, under green roofs and other critical areas hidden from view and notifies property management so that any intrusions may be corrected before they become major negative issues. It can be installed in new construction, or as remediation in existing structures. Detec can also help to add LEED points to your project.
Detec uses modern, proprietary technology to provide quality assurance scans on roof membranes including green roofs. Roof membrane integrity scans are highly effective methods for evaluating the water-tightness of both single ply membrane and built up roof systems on conductive (concrete or steel) decks. Detec has the capability to scan vertical parapet walls, below grade waterproofing, and vegetated walls, confirming the water tightness of surface penetrations.
We provide risk mitigation for property owners and their development teams by increasing the sustainability of buildings through professional structure monitoring services. We can also provide indoor air quality, humidity, temperature and other sensor monitoring to sustain long term resident health and comfort.
