Dutchmaster's specialty of wholesaling large caliper trees to
the commercial / industrial landscape trade exceeds 60,000 trees
per year. To support this major source of revenue, optimum
production in the digging and transplanting of trees remains a
constant even as the industry changes from year to year. In the
beginning, the market's lack of a quality spade consistently
impacted our bottom line. What we wanted did not exist. What
we needed was a spade solely to meet our needs.
In the early 1980s we commenced the design, development and
manufacture of a Dutchmaster Tree Spade. Continual design
upgrades followed whereby a number of models evolved and all
levels of capability, efficiency, dependability and maintenance
were perfected. By 1990, in response to what had become a
demanding market, we totally redesigned all of our models to
serve the nursery / landscaping industry.
Dutchmasters Tree Spades are number 1 in North America. We
