Company Description: Eco-Tec designs and builds water treatment, and recovery systems which purify water and help to solve environment problems around the world. These systems are used to remove suspended and dissolved solids from water, reclaim "heavy" metals such as copper, nickel, and chrome, purify the acids that are used in metal treatment processes, or remove contaminants from amines used in hydrocarbon processing systems.
Power generation, pharmaceutical production, electronics manufacturing, oilfields, mining, electroplating, aluminum anodizing, and steel finishing are examples of markets that use Eco-Tec systems.
Utilizing an advanced ion exchange process called Recoflo®, complete recovery systems often include other technologies which Eco-Tec has either developed or licensed from around the world. In addition to recovery applications, Recoflo is used for water purification, particularly where large volumes or high purity are important. The high efficiency Recoflo® process reduces capital and operating costs.
