Unique Applications: Drake Landing - our commercial collectors are being used to collect solar heat for the first North American residential solar thermal long term seasonal storage application in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada. Our residential appliances are installed on each home to provide for the domestic solar water heating needs. Phase 1 is currently occupied and Phase 2 and Phase 3 are in the process of construction.
ThermUtility - Our residential collectors are being used in a hybrid application to solar assist geo-thermal technology. With solar assistance you decrease the environmental footprint of the geo-thermal technology because the loops to retrieve energy from the ground heat sink do not have to be as long.
Success Stories: EnerWorks provided two solar modular arrays to Confederation Place Hotel in Kingston for the supply of hot water for 94 guest rooms, onsite laundry facilities, the hotel kitchen and a seasonal pool. On site solar energy for 3.5 cents per kWh. The system is expandable as and when needed.

Another big plus of the Enerworks Solar Water Heating Appliance is that it uses very little electricity. The small 20 W pump has no problem circulating the heat exchanger fluid between the basement storage tank and the roof collectors (total height is about 30 ft). South Mountain Company is an employee owned and resource conscious design/build firm located on the island of Martha's Vineyard. In May of 2004, we installed an Enerworks Solar Water Heating Appliance at an employee's home so we could monitor and learn about the system. We installed a 2 collector system on the south facing roof and located the Energy Pack with an 80 gallon storage tank in the basement. Water is pre-heated by the sun before it goes into the conventional hot water heater.
