etc. Press is a full service commercial/book printer utilizing digital colour and black toner technologies as well as offset printing to complete projects both large and small. We excell at producing high quality work in conjunction with "crunch" deadlines.
We are a short run perfect bound book printer that works in the 10 to 2000 copy range. We are especially well set up for very short runs of galley proofs, University journals, family memoirs and institutional publications that might otherwise be coil bound. We are able to provide single sided lamination of book covers in-house.
We Print a maximum sheet size by offset press of 26" using a Komori L426 with high pile delivery and infrared drier. We can print by colour laser printer to 12.5" by 19" on weights up to 12pt cover stock. By Black laser printer we can print to 12.5" by 18.5" on uncoated or coated weights up to 80lb cover.
Our finishing capabilities include all the forms of bindery used in digital print such as continuous coil and cerlox binding as well as short run and high volume saddle stitching. We have a 20" folder with right angle as well as air feed scoring-perforating devices, cutters, drills etc.
We are a very resourceful and motivated company, most jobs go through our shop in anywhere from an afternoon to a few days, we complete even the largest of perfect bound book runs in 10-15 days.
We are vigilant about quality and everyone of our employees have been given the mandate to think like they own the place. Our pricing is very competitive and we will always work towards the most cost effective method for printing and finishing a job.
Our pre-press department uses the latest in pdf workflow technology and we have full plate making capability. We handle all files that may be produced with the Macintosh or Windows operating systems. We are stumped by nothing.
