Farabloc Development Corporation manufactures electromagnetic
shielding clothing and wraps. Farabloc is a non-pharmacological
product that alleviates muscle and back pain. The product is
available as blankets, wraps and clothing in a variety of sizes.
The company holds patents for Farabloc€™s application in phantom
limb pain, muscular pain and equine muscle training. Farabloc
was originally invented to combat the phantom limb pain commonly
experienced by amputees. In fact, a 1993 study conducted at the
University of British Columbia and subsequently published in the
Canadian Journal of Rehabilitation confirmed Farabloc€™s ability
to alleviate phantom limb pain. Farabloc looks and feels like
linen and contains ultra-thin steel fibres that have been proven
to block electromagnetic fields (EMF) in the high- to ultra-high-
frequency range. Studies show that EMF can modify cellular
responses to stress. In fact, low-frequency EMF pulses are an
accepted form of treatment to speed healing during
rehabilitation. Farabloc€™s ability to accelerate recovery from
muscle injuries and rehabilitation was confirmed in an award-
winning study conducted by a team led by Doug Clement, MD of the
University of British Columbia, one of Canada€™s most recognized
sports medicine figures. That study was published in the
Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine, published in Philadelphia,
in January 2000. Other publications: Clin J Pain,PA and The
British Columbia Medical Journal. TheFarabloc Development
Corporation holds an Establishment Licence Class 1 in Canada and
is a member of the Better Business Bureau since 1989.

"I have been involved in Sports Medicine for many years, and I never came across a product like Farabloc. This electromagnetic shielding fabric not only relieves pain but reduces inflammation. Farabloc is an effective drug free alternative for pain reduction and injury recovery."
