First Smart Sensor Corp. has developed floodstopper system, the
worlds first fully automated water leak detection and control
system - think of it as a Circuit Breaker for your water system!
In simple terms if the systems sensors detect moisture they
signal the control panel to have the special valve turn off the
main water supply in seconds. With the supply of water turned
off, a potential disaster has been averted, saving the expense
and headaches of flood damage and insurance claims. Once the
leak has been corrected, a simple press of the reset button and
the water supply is restored.
Other advantages of the Floodstopper System include the close
valve feature which allows you to shut down the entire water
supply with the push of a button. The system costs less than the
average insurance deductible and can be interfaced with most
monitored security systems. It is UL and NSF approved and may
qualify for insurance premium reductions.
