BE CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THIS LOCAL BUSINESS: I Brought in a ring Feb 2012 to Fused Elements in Cornwall. Ring was 18k white gold & had 15 small diamonds. Asked Fused Elements to re-do the ring into a Gypsy setting. Quoted $400 and asked for $100 deposit. Advised 3-4 weeks to be completed. Called 3-4 weeks later. Was told that she had made the wrong size and had to re-make the ring, would be another 2 weeks. Clled 2 weeks later, still wasn't finished. Fast forward 5 months. Ring is finally ready. Being as naive as i am, i purchased the ring without looking (i was so excited). Took the ring home and inspected it.... Diamonds are not evenly spaced out. Called the Owner and advised her that i was not happy with the results of the ring. She first said that i was being picky. The ring was nothing like the picture i brought in for her to "copy". Went into the store, Owner advised me she would fix it, but that it would cost me an additional $260.00. Fast forward another month. I go in to look at the ring before the stones get set. Same shape as the previous ring. I decide to tell her that i do not have confidence in her abilities and that i want my diamonds back and i want a 50% refund. We agreed in person and on paper that she would refund me 200$ and that i would receive all of my diamonds back. I send my boyfriend in a week later and she has "Changed her mind". She gives me my ring back and refuses to refund me the money. After we had a verbal and written agreement. Extremely poor customer service. Would not take my phone calls, would not return my phone calls. In the beginning when the ring was taking so long, it was always me communicating with her. This is unacceptable. Full of false promises. Wasted/Lost $452.00 Very poor customer service & integrity. Will never go back or recommend.
