A LAND OF PROGRESS. SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, NURSING STATIONS, AN
ORPHANAGE, AND A SHIPYARD WHICH FORMED THE COMPONENTS OF THE
INTERNATIONAL GRENFELL ASSOCIATION, WERE SOME OF THE RESULTS
OF HIS MANY EFFORTS.
THE INDUSTRIAL DEPARTMENT, LATER RENAMED GRENFELL HANDICRAFTS
LTD. IN 1954, WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1906 BY DR GRENFELL AS THE
HANDCRAFTING DIVISION OF THE INTERNATIONAL GRENFELL ASSOCIATION.
