A New Revenue Stream for Methane-to-Energy
Methane is a potent and valuable greenhouse gas, 21+ times more harmful than carbon dioxide, which can be used to generate energy. When a project that uses methane to create energy is conducted, considerable value can be created by certifying the resulting carbon reductions as carbon offsets. Currently, projects that emit methane waste a significant amount of energy potential and overlook over $500 billion in carbon offsets in North America alone.
Realizing Carbon Offsets
The process of certifying carbon reductions as carbon offsets is complicated and costly. Habitat covers the cost and does all necessary work to create offsets. We develop offsets in three steps: 1. Feasibility
