HaPe International Inc. was founded in Alberta, Canada in 2004 when its holding company, HaPe Group, purchased Educo, a manufacturer of educational toys made of wooden beads and frames and colorful sculptured wires.   Since then the collection has expanded to eight brands with over 250 interactive products favored by parents and children at home, daycare, doctor€™s offices and schools.  The range is distributed to North American specialty retailers, gift stores, zoos and museums gift stores and select ecommerce sites and catalogs.    
HaPe has over two decades of experience in the toy industry and has achieved industry acclaim from peers, consumer groups, independent testing groups, governments and the international media, earning awards for business excellence, exportation of products, service to children with special needs, quality control and contributions to society.  
Displaying the highest standards in product design, quality craftsmanship and educational play value, each toy is created with careful attention to detail.  The company proudly displays more than 60 international awards including Parents' Choice Gold and Silver Medals, National Parenting Honors, the British "Best Toy" award and the prestigious Oppenheim Platinum Seal of Excellence.  In 1994, the award winning Original Supermaze was inducted into the Toy Hall of Fame.  
A strong network of manufacturers' representatives, under the direction of HaPe's U.S. Sales Manager, sell the range annually at major national and regional toy, educational and gift trade shows in North America and abroad.

HaPe Holding AG in Switzerland is the head office for our company group, located in Lucerne, Switzerland, in the heart of Europe.  All national and international investments are made by our holding company.

Educo playthings are educational toys made of wooden beads, wooden frames and colorful sculptured play wires. Today, Educo bead and wires mazes are a favored toy among parents and preschoolers who enjoy them in medical offices, airports,
schools and home. The Educo collection features over 70 interactive play products now used throughout the world to stimulate imaginative minds, encourage three dimensional
thinking, enhance motor skill development, and provide rewarding rehabilitation exercises. Carefully written activity guides accompany each model to help parents, teachers, health, professionals, and care-givers extend educational opportunities,
therapeutic options and playtime fun.
Educo products are toys where learning and fun meet during play.  With design focused on on simplicity the priority is to ensure that the product can be produced and distributed at an affordable price.  Educo products are toys with a high play value.  
Woody Click
Bring out the best in your child
Developed in order to let the child grow into his own imagination world, Woody Click supports role play, an essential activity for young children.  Through a child€™s imagination they create their own world.  Woody Click is a thoughtful combination between rubber wood and Baltic birch and is treated with only water-based stains for color.  
All items are developed for 3 years + because of small parts.  
Odysey
Bend and Pose ... playing and learning about history
Odyssey Toys was founded in 2002 offering bendable and poseable figures in a variety of themes.  Within a few years they had a strong network of gift, museum and toys stores.  HaPe purchased Odyssey Toys in February of 2008 with a focus of expanding distribution of the HaPe brands into the existing Odyssey Toys market and extending the reach of Odyssey Toys worldwide.  
Beleduc
Educational wood puzzles and games and puppets and marionettes designed in Germany.  
The award-winning line includes puppets for storytelling for children three years and up and puzzles and games for children four years and up.  
QUADRILLA®
Intelligent Playing in Wood
Founded and developed by Mr. Wilfried Braun of Quadrilla®, this line is manufactured and distributed by HaPe International Group.
Quadrilla marble runs are a system of blocks, tracks and accessory pieces that allow the energy of a marble to travel in a make-your-own path.  Beautiful wood tracks and a rainbow of colored blocks, each with a different function, are the starting point for endless contraptions for marbles to drop to a new level, go right or left, swirl in a funnel, or pour out of a teeter totter.    Their path is determined by the builder and the options are endless.  Simple 2 or 3 level switches or complex multi-level, multi-direction layouts are possible depending on the builder€™s understanding of the function of each piece.  Introduced in 2005, Quadrilla immediately won numerous awards including the Oppenheim Platinum Award, reserved for only 10 toys in a given year.  
Anamalz
Designed in Australia, the quirky, poseable Anamalz, with life-like characteristics in an artistic and moveable form has been roaming North American toy stores and embraced by thousands of children.  Made from organic maple, water-based paints and formaldehyde-free glue, each anamalz is individually branded by the natural grain of the wood and the touch of a craftsman.  The time spent in creating this range will be outnumbered by the hours children will spend in role play and story-telling with their favorite new kangaroo, camel or black sheep.  
Moonworker
Moonworker is distributed - but not manufactured - by HaPe and helps a child to strengthen his imagination while playing outdoor.  Being a "worker on the moon" who is digging into the earth of the moon and searching for adventures.
