Our fees Are Tied To Your results. No Publicity, No Fees*
* Fee Structure - No Publication of your articles press or on-line news items , means no fee charged to your company
Our process is designed to be uncomplicated and without unnecessary admin or expenses. We ask you a few questions about your products, and services, your target market(s) and client decision maker profiles, and ask you to email recent advertising, sales promotion or similar published items to us. Most importantly, we need an idea of your public relations goals in the business sense.
These goals are generally profitable sales; but not always. They could include a membership drive, a call to political action, or one we increased profits with - persuading logistics staff, office managers and similar to sell us un-reworked, empty toner cartridges
When we agree on an appropriate news message, or series, to targeted markets and potential buyers by media type, we send out a few. We have over 8,000 Canadian Media contacts from which to choose -- all need new, credible stories and news items OF INTEREST TO THE READER OR VIEWER. This last part is where we earn our wages.
All the above is without charge
When the first PR item is published.....$385.00...When subsequent ones are published, to the agreed maximum.....$135.00 Each...Creation and placement of ads or notices for Social Media Sites (almost all are accepted) Exact media charges plus .......$85.00... each
Prices are in $ Canadian, GST is extra, terms are 7 days from publication, VISA/Paypal or company cheque accepted
Why you need to be aware of the new rules of Publicity, - how Image Control can assist, if direct E-commerce, or any online marketing is planned
While many marketing and PR people understand that press releases sent over the wires appear in near real-time on services like Google News, very few understand the implications for how they must dramatically alter their press release strategy in order to maximize the effectiveness of the press release as a direct consumer-communication channel.
The media has been disintermediated. The Web has changed the rules. Buyers read your press releases directly and you need to be talking their language This is not to suggest that media relations are no longer important; mainstream media and the trade press must be part of an overall communications strategy.
In some businesses, mainstream media and the trade press remain critically important and, of course, the media still derives some of its content from press releases. But your primary audience is no longer just a handful of journalists. Your audience is millions of people with Internet connections and access to search engines and RSS readers.
Image Control Toner started in 1989, and put up our first web site in 1995. When I sold company and our building to return to Vancouver in 2004, we'd had over 220,000 site visits, and more importantly 800+ links which put us very high on page 1 searches for toner OR Inkjet AND any major Canadian city. If Social Networking/ Facebook/ Linkedin - eBay, Craigslist, Paypal etc. and web design (not coding) are of interest we can help with your selling proposition, and why your company is different

*********************************************************
* For over 25 years IT and other sales, advertising and marketing has taken me to all Canadian Provinces, 43 US states and 18 other countries.
* I sold and later created ads, and PR for Reprox, the group which brought the first non-Xerox bond paper copiers into Canada, Modern Accounting, Vancouver, author of the first viable minicomputer system for G/L - financial accounting and tax preparation and my own company Image Control Toner.
All had competitively priced products; but our success would have been much less without the great lead generation from direct marketing, print and TV P R which cost a fraction of comparable advertising.
On the trade and consumer publications side, I developed a good insight into the knowledge and commercial relations amongst publishers, journalists, publicists, and readers. Highlights of this business experience included: * Advertising sales for Seccombe House -- later Southam Business Publications: Oral Health (Dentists), Therapeutics ( Heavy prescribing MDs), Canadian Antiques Collector (Dealers and Collectors), Medical Aspects of Human Sexuality (GPs), Ontario Dental Assn Journal, The Plumbers Pot (McGill Engineering Students and Alumni), CIM (Canadian Institute of Metallurgy), The McGill Daily and others
* Other industries I'm familiar with include: Job Shops - Process Manufacturing - I sold IBM based minicomputers for custom Manufacturing, Accounting, Production and Inventory Control; Retailing, Construction - I built and Operated six Red Carpet Pet Centres and a 300 unit kennel in Montreal and Toronto;. Real Estate - I've sold 5 residential and commercial buildings without an agent or broker
