Intermatics® provides Informatics consulting services, on a full time basis, to a broad range of ICT clients, ranging from government agencies to small businesses to schools to emergency service providers. Most work in recent
years has been in strategic planning and technical design and supervision for large-area wireless systems for data, radio, television and emergency services (both in Canada and overseas).
The chief consultant has 45 years of directly-related ICT experience. Other consultants are retained, on a project-by-project basis. Currently (2009 May) the firm is actively involved as consultant or project manager for many ICT initiatives in Manitoba, elsewhere in Canada, and overseas. Planning and designing "green power" systems, with fail-safe functions – is one current activity. Managing iHealth and iLearn for mobile broadband services are two pilot projects under active development.
