Unique Applications: All our projects involve heat recovery
and energy savings. We have been able to
recover heat from typical boiler room processes
and even from low grade sources such as
textile wastewaters.
Key / Major Clients: Albany International, Black Velvet Distilling
Company, Fruit of the Loom Inc., Kraft Canada
Inc., Nan Yang Textile Group, Paris Star Knitting
Mills Inc., Perkins Papers Ltd., Seagram Company
Ltd., Tandem Fabrics Inc., Tricots Canada-US Inc.
Success Stories: JMC has a long list of successfully completed
projects, including many energy conservation
projects, long before the field was popular, and
various automation projects, including the first
computerized cloth dyeing operation in North
America, which was installed in 1969.
Since then, we have been involved with
numerous plant expansions and the
construction of new plants. For example,
since the 1990's, we have engineered the
boiler plants and production processes for
six textile plants, each capable of producing approximately 1.5 million pounds of cloth
per week. We designed all utilities, including
equipment and piping layouts, low voltage power
supplies and instrumentation/automation
for the dyehouses and boiler plants.
In 1996, we designed and constructed the
first "Irish Boiler Room of the Year" for Fruit
of the Loom.
Our company also has worked extensively
with distilleries for about 40 years. We have
worked on all areas of a distillery and have
designed/installed a falling film evaporator.
