Industria Service Corporation commenced business in 1975 under
the name of Canadian Energy Services. Its original concept was
to offer an alternated choice to the owners for boiler
maintenance and ancillary equipment repair in the pulp and paper
sector of British Columbia.
Canadian energy was the first serious competitor of the OEM
boiler companies. Prior to 1975, the OEM's basically controlled
maintenance functions at their schedule and charge-out rates.
In the past 20 years, Industria has established an enviable
track record of safety, quality, productivity and respect for
the customers' needs.
During these 20 years, our construction division has carried out
approximately $275 million of retrofit, repair and maintenance
of boilers and pressure vessels. This dollar figure equates to
approximately 3.5 million man hours.
Our Manufacturing division commenced business in 1981 under the
name Canadian Industrial Tube Bend Inc. This division
specializes in power and recovery boiler replacement components
from floors to walls, from superheaters to economizers. Smelt
spouts and manway are also manufactured and supplies. Like all
our services, CITB operates 24 hrs/day, 7 days per week and is
fully inventoried and ready to serve. In 14 years this division
has been responsible for approximately $300 million in sales
throughout the U.S. and Canada.
In 1996 the Industria Service Corporation co-founded a company
involved with asbestos abatement, insulation and cladding.
During this period to the present we have also been involved
with refractories and fireproofing. This division is well
recognized for its services in the pulp and paper sector, the
marine industry, petrochemical and commercial projects. In just
8 years
Industria Thermal Service Corporation has contracted
approximately $95 million of work.
