Diana Ng, the C.E.O. of Minerva Innovations consulting, offers a variety of services to organizations including education and facilitation. Diversity training is one area of our specialties.
Our mission is about connecting people, inspiring peace and discovering possibilities.
Our guiding principles are inclusion, collaboration and respect.
Our niche is the use innovative tools in our seminars, workshops and presentations.
Labyrinths, an ancient tool for reflection and contemplation, are only one of our tools we use.
We are currently working with the City of Surrey to build the first public labyrinth in the Lower Mainland.
Here is a story about our recent work with a client: An organization of about 350 employees was experiencing low morale and high conflicts. Much of the conversation in the workplace was about €œus€? against €œthem.€? The poor attitudes and behaviors between employees and leaders were impacting the bottom line – its customers.
Its executive director felt a new vision would help to inspire a cohesive work culture.
When we further discussed the challenges and new vision with the executive director, the leadership team and staff, they were in agreement for us to intervene to create an effective and efficient workplace.
Over the next four months, workshops and facilitation were implemented with as many staff as possible. Our workshops encouraged dialogue and understanding across all levels of the organization. Staff engagement resulted in ownership and an action plan to bring the new vision to life. People€™s sense of pride, strength and commitment to their work were reinforced. Their work purpose and direction affirmed. Evaluations of our work indicated that the workplace culture was much improved.
Again, our work is about connecting people with peace and possibilities.

Testimonial: "We were challenged with how to develop an action plan to engage our staff in our new Vision and how to address negativity being experienced in the Staff Room. Diana presents herself as very knowledgeable in organizational development concepts. She is willing to tackle projects with energy and commitment. She appears professional, open and honest with her reflections and asks for feedback. Our sense of staff engagement with the Vision increased and our sense of their pride in the organization. We also felt the strength of the commitment of the leadership team to each other and the organization. We had our purpose and direction affirmed. We also got re-afffirmation of our own expertise. Diana's service delivery was positive, clear and concise and valued-added."
Karen Baillie, Executive Director, Haro Park Seniors' Centre, Vancouver, BC
"Diana has a gentle approach that allowed me to step into the (labyrinth) experience completely open to whatever happened. Diana's work with labyrinths (increased) value to our community today in my mind. I think the gentle way in which you facilitate the labyrinth experience could be of tremendous benefit to groups in community, to individuals in organizations."
