Assisted with securing financing of approx. $60 million for the establishment of NRC Institute for Nutriscience and Health Research in Charlottetown, PEI.
Prepared plans for essential infrastructure and research capacity for the establishment of Canada€™s Smartest Kitchen and the Holland College Biotechnology program.
Assisted with obtaining approx. $17 million in funding for the Holland College Centre of Applied Science and Technology through the provincial government and the federal government€™s Knowledge Infrastructure Fund.
Assisted the Wind Energy Institute of Canada prepare a funding application resulting in a $12 million grant from Natural Resources Canada€™s Clean Energy Fund to construct a 9-10 MW wind plant in North Cape, PEI.
Engaged by the University of PEI (with the participation of private sector stakeholders, the Province of Prince Edward Island and ACOA) to develop a conceptual plan and business case for the Canadian Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship (CCBE). The university was successful in securing $1.69 million from ACOA, and $4 million from the Province of PEI.
