NewCore Wireless Technologies Inc. was founded in 1999 to Design, Develop, and Furnish Unique Technologies and Integrated System Solutions for Radio and Satellite Communications, Wireless Broadcast Applications, and Wired Transmission Systems.

Since its inception, NewCore has been developing advanced circuits, techniques and system solutions. Our unique systems are based on solid engineering foundations developed through many years of R - D in the wired and wireless communications fields.
THE TEAM
The NewCore senior management team possesses over 70 years of combined Technology and Business experiences. The team gained R - D and system implementation experiences at many high-tech large organizations that are located in the Montreal area.
The NewCore R - D and technical team€™s breadth of knowledge originates from experiences gained on successfully delivered projects, such as: 1. FDM/FM and high-efficiency Digital Microwave Radios ranging from 64QAM to 512QAM, including Protection Switching Systems, RF / IF / Baseband analog and digital modules, Network Monitoring and Control. The developments covered the designs of Modems, FECs, IF amplitude and delay equalizers, RF Up-converters and Oscillators and controls for RF amplifiers, and baseband analog and digital processors.
2. Members of NewCore technical staff led on satellite ground communications oscillator design for C and Ku band systems.
3. Members of NewCore technical staff developed passive and active RF modules from L-band to Ka-band.
4. Members of NewCore Technical Staff designed the System, Hardware, and Software architectures of a fully flexible SONET/SDH 622/155 Mbps Ring/Linear optical transport system with a fully flexible digital cross-connect for traffic provisioning at drop-and-insert sites. The Fiber Optics€™ product required the design and development of an advanced Network Management System (OAM - P = Operations, Alarms, Maintenance, and Provisioning) to manage more that 144 Network Elements. This Network Management System (NMS) required the full implementation of the ITU-T standards for SONET/SDH networking and transport.
5. Members of the Technical Staff have designed 16QAM to 256QAM Cross-Polarized Microwave Radio and DSP modules, satellite communications monitoring systems, and various Encryption and Compression algorithms. We have worked with MPEG-2/MPEG-4 as it relates to SD/HD video, and audio. We have worked with DVB-S/DVB-S2 designs. We have extensive experience with Internet over satellite and VoIP (Voice over IP).
This breadth of knowledge, carried from vast ranging experiences, has strengthened NewCore€™s unique know-how in many fields relating to satellite communications and monitoring, and ground based optical and microwave communications systems.
The NewCore team counts amid its achievements: 1. The many digital Microwave Radio turnkey projects completed for many Canadian and US telecom companies.. Members of NewCore Technical Staff participated in the System Design, implementation, and technical training of customers€™ technical staff.
2. The many FDM/FM analog Microwave Radios in the 4GHz and 6GHz delivered to Canadian telecom companies. Members of NewCore Technical Staff led the system design, implementation, and training.
3. The design and sale of a fully integrated SONET/SDH 622/155 Mbps fiber optic system, including the NMS.
4. The design of the Ground-Based, satellite communication monitoring system. This system is capable of monitoring approximately 140º over the GSO satellite arc.
5. The design of a Ground-Based, Point-to-MultiPoint SD/HD TV/Radio broadcast and Internet service delivery System, primarily for the North-American market.
