Gateway to Asiaâ„¢(GTA), an initiative under S.U.C.C.E.S.S. in Vancouver, was kicked off in 2002 with the financial support from Western Economic Diversification Canada. The project serves the need both in the Asian immigrant community and in the Western Canadian economic development sphere.
Our mandate is to promote Canadian exports by assisting Canadian companies to access Asian markets and to facilitate direct foreign investment from Asia as well as to provide consultation to immigrants for business start-up. Our effort has resulted in commercial benefits of several types including investments being made in Canadian companies by foreign business, export deals involving Canadian firms aided by GTA members acting as middlemen, establishment of manufacturing and import/export firms being created by GTA members.

-Facilitate Canada-China - Canada-Korea trade and investment

-Organize trade missions and trade forums between Canadian and Asian businesses

-Provide business networking opportunities in Canada and Asia
-Provide consultation to immigrants for business start-up in Canada
