SRC provides technology transfer to the industrial,
manufacturing, construction and transportation sectors. Through
information technologies, SRC clients can receive and distribute
data quickly and accurately. Expertise includes: building
sciences, remote sensing, instrumentation, image analysis, rock
mechanics, automation, product design and testing, productivity
improvement, digital processing, geographic information systems,
management information systems and plastic and plastic moulding
technology. The potential of our vast resources is being
realized through SRC's efforts in petroleum and mineral
exploration. SRC has established recognized expertise in
petroleum recovery and processing, mineral exploration and
processing, geoscience services, groundwater research,
alternative energy, agricultural crop production and processing
and environmental engineering. Environmental issues are
addressed through applied research, and our sophisticated
laboratories provide a diverse range of services from mineral
sampling to chemical analysis. Agriculture/Biotechnology
involves DNA research, solid-state and ethanol fermentation, and
blood typing services. Increased visibility of SRC efforts in
biotechnology reflects a strong commitment to supporting the
growth of this industry. Our Fermentation Pilot Plant
provides industry with multi-disciplinary R - D support in the
development of new fermentation products, process optimization
