Scorpion Technologies Ltd. is an ISO 9001-2000 certified
Kamloops based company, which manufactures and distributes top
quality, reasonably priced control grips, joysticks, pendant
controls, control boxes and radio remotes. Originally developed
for the logging industry, our products are now used on
everything from timber harvesting equipment to submersibles. The
owner and staff have been building control grips since 1995.
Over this time our product line has expanded to
include several different and improved grip models and
accessories. We are developing new controls and accessories on
an ongoing basis. Most of these are for the special requirements
of our customers. Many of our customers do require special "non-
stock" features incorporated into the controls they order and
Scorpion can supply the products that perfectly suit these needs.
One of our newer products is a high quality, low cost,
proportional joystick. It can be supplied in single or double
axis (spring return to center) and gives a 0.5 to 4.5 VDC
proportional output on each axis. The joystick uses non-
contacting "Hall Effect" sensors for incredibly long life. Any
of Scorpion's "S", "M" or "L" model grips can be mounted on the
joystick, giving a complete package!
