Computer technology is broadly used by SNC-Lavalin Inc. in the

most projects and includes tasks from word processing to highly
sophisticated engineering analysis. Each company individual has
access to an IBM compatible computer with various software
packages such as MS Office 95 Suite. Project drawings are
prepared utilizing top end computer workstations and AutoCAD
drawing and design software.
All computers are networked via a Local Area Network (LAN) which
provides office e-mail, and in addition, Internet e-mail by
dedicated connection of the LAN to an Internet Gateway by means
of the SNC-Lavalin Wide Area Network (WAN).
