Success Stories: Telecom Service Provider installation at an office building in downtown Calgary: Situation: A recently installed entrance conduit, by a national telecom service provider, failed during a rain storm. Water flooded into the buildings storage area.
Action: At 8:00pm, Sprecom was contacted directly by the building operator, Sprecom notified the responsible telecom service provider and within the hour Sprecom and telecom service provider were on site and the water infiltration was stopped with a temporary plug.
Outcome: The building and some tenant stored items were damaged. Sprecom worked with the telecom service provider to develop a permanent conduit seal and with their insurance company to obtain compensation for the damages to the building and stored items.
With Sprecom€™s CI Management program in place, the building operator and owner were able to relax, knowing the CI situation was being totally taken care of, including compensation, with no added cost to them.
