What is "Home Sitting"?
Should you be absent from your home due to work or vacation for any period of time€” a weekend, a week, a month, a year, etc. €” and wish to have someone visit or reside in your home, you can employ the use of a ‘home sitter.€™ This individual will properly maintain and secure the safety of your property, and if applicable, care for your pet(s) while you are away.

Security - Maintenance Checks

The Home Sitters will visit when required and maintain activity on the premises that will act as a preventative mechanism to reduce the chances of theft.
In addition, should a water pipe burst, your boiler overheat, weather damage occur, flooding or anything else, we will assess the situation immediately and are skilled in proceeding with appropriate action.

The Home Sitters offers overnight live-ins for any period of time€” a weekend, a week, a month, several months, a year, etc.

Each home sitter must be cleared in order to work for The Home Sitters. The processing fee for a clearance letter is $26.25. This is the only cost incurred by the individual. Requests must be made in person at: Toronto Police Service.
