In 2001, the The Knowledge Transfer Company represented the University of British Columbia€™s Continuing Education department and traveled extensively in North America developing and negotiating curriculum licensing agreements for on-line certificate programs with educational institutions and corporations. Relationships were created abroad through the Internet and specific marketing strategies and business models were developed addressing localized cultures and technology differences. Agreements were sealed from United States, Canada, Greenland, United Arab Emirates and China.
Viviance new education
In 2000, Kelly Juhasz joined one of the industry founding e-learning companies as the Vice President of Canada for Viviance new education, Inc. - a global leader in custom design and delivery of dynamic web-based education and training solutions. Kelly held responsibilities for opening Canada as a market and creating the corporate expansion plan. She consulted to clients in Canada and Europe on e-Learning strategies and concepts. She spearheaded revenue generation coast-to-coast and developed niche vertical marketing strategies geared toward developing a new profitable market. Kelly was keenly involved with strategic direction for North American activities, product testing and the development of new services and business models as a member of the executive management team for the North American operation. Viviance clients included the Canadian Securities Institute, Dell, Linuxcare, Motorola, Stamps.com, TrainingScape, UPS, Volkswagen and Wells Fargo.

In 2003, the Knowledge Transfer Company worked with TVOntario and the Independent Learning Centre€™s Lifelong Learning Challenge Fund to create the marketing and business strategies for the Fund. The Fund, established in 2000 by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, is to provide Ontarians with a flexible source of training that can be used at home, at work and in the community. Eight online courses have been developed in partnership with eight colleges/universities and eight private sector companies focusing on skill shortages within the province of Ontario. This project includes new audience and market development, licensing and business models for online courseware, institutional marketing of online courses, and private/public partnerships.
