WEST COAST ENGINEERING INTERNATIONAL LTD. is the largest steel
pole manufacturer in Canada. We make the poles, and we make the
machines that make the poles. We make steel poles of any size
and shape at our two plants in Canada and at our international
joint venture operations including one at Beijing, China.
We also have a machine shop and engineering group dedicated to
producing specialized POLE MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT and TURN-KEY
POLE PLANTS. The turn-key plants include equipment, technology,

International Ltd. supplies the world in poles and pole
manufacturing TECHNOLOGY.
West Coast Engineering International Ltd. was established in 1977
as a supplier of steel poles and street light brackets and other
related products to Canadian utilities, government agencies, and
the private market through established wholesalers. Plant area
comprises 50,000 sq. ft. of plant and 3,000 sq. ft. of office
located on 2.78 acres of industrial land. All of the major
production machinery was developed and assembled in-plant, after
research into various types of existing pole plant technology and
equipment. With the expertise developed in the course of the
years of both equipment and pole manufacturing, a new
international turnkey pole plant package was released into active
marketing in 1983, and in the course of years we have
continually developed more efficient export packages designed to
the particular needs of the customer.
WEST COAST ENGINEERING INTERNATIONAL LTD. has been involved in a
wide variety of demanding and different projects, ranging from
power transmission to street lighting. We have developed a
system of manufacture including every piece of equipment
specifically designed for metal pole manufacture.
