Viridis Environmental Inc. is an Ottawa-based environmental

ISO 14000/Environmental Management Systems Consulting and
Training
Viridis' expertise includes the development and implementation
of Environmental Management Systems, based on the ISO 14000
series. Viridis has also aided in the preparation of Sustainable
Development Strategies. Viridis offers training services on ISO
14001, including Internal and Lead Auditor courses, and
customized training seminars. Viridis takes pride in its

organization to create efficient, effective systems for
environmental management.
Waste Management: with respect to solid non-hazardous waste
management, Viridis works with facility managers to improve
waste management systems within buildings. Experience includes
waste audits, waste reduction workplans, implementation of waste
reduction initiatives, waste management strategies and education
programs. Viridis has worked closely with municipal government
on the waste issues of close to 1 million residents. Programs
have resulted in economic savings for the client and a reduced
impact on the environment through diversion of material from
landfill and re-using natural resources through recycling
processes.
Water Management: Viridis has practical experience in the field
of water auditing and can help facilities to reduce their water
consumption and save money. Water audits involve preliminary
evaluation, determination of water distribution and water
balance, development of a water reduction workplan and
implementation.
