Wellons Canada is a Vancouver, Canada based company specializing in the
manufacture and installation of lumber drying and energy conversion
equipment. We take pride in providing industry with our total
project service, from concept to completion.
Our custom manufactured lumber dry kilns provide our customers
with quality wood products at minimum cost. Our dryers work
around the clock drying softwoods, hardwoods, dimension lumber,
specialities, timbers, veneer, flakes and chopsticks.
Our all-aluminum designed frame and cladding system reduces
field installation time and provides a leak free building.
Heating systems for our dry kilns can be any one or a combination
of the following energy sources: steam, direct fired, electricity,
oil, natural gas, wood residues, hot water, thermal oil, waste heat.
The Wellons Winkiln kiln control system provides microprocessor control of the
drying process with the added benefit of a modem connection to
Wellons expertise. Wellons' wood-fired energy systems convert biomass
fuels such as bark, sawdust, shavings, and hog fuel into useful
heat. Heat transfer systems are direct fired or use heat exchangers
to create steam, thermal oil or hot water.
Our expertise in energy conversion is best seen in oriented
strand board plants where there is a large variety of applications,
including direct fired rotary dryers, thermal oil heated press,
plant heating, log pond heating, steam generation from thermal
