For over 12 years, the sole focus of Westech Systems has been to implement housekeeping management systems for hospitals all over North America. The three primary goals of implementing these systems are to achieve measurable savings, increase cleaning quality and to improve staff morale. Westech's approach to implementation of a houskeeping management system is unique to the industry. Our implementation team has janitorial experts with over 18 years experience in working with facility cleaning directors all over North America, computer experts who are well versed in the latest computer-aided facilities management technologies, and data-capture experts.
In the implementation process our team works closely with the person responsible for the facility cleaning to combine their unique management approach to cleaning their facility with what others in the industry are doing. Moreover, these optimal cleaning techniques are captured in the database of an easy to use software system that becomes the property of the facility. In this integrated approach our clients get the best of both worlds in terms of experienced consultants and a powerful easy to use software system in which the client keeps the consultants recommendations current on a day to day basis. Moreover, in most cases a consultant?s report is out of date the minute anything changes in a facility. With the software system, our clients are trained to keep it up-to-date on a daily basis by spending approximately thirty minutes a day on various system related tasks.
The TechniClean software used in our system has been implemented in over 500 million square feet of facility space over the last 18 years and was co-developed by Westech Systems. In fact, the manufacturer of the software contracted with Westech to write the system documentation. Moreover, many of the system improvements that are distributed to our clients once a year are the result of Westech's requests due to client interaction.
In every implementation that Westech has undertaken over the last eighteen years we have been able to increase the prodcutivy in the manner in which an organization cleans their facility by over ten percent. With implementation of the Westech System we are able to help our clients achieve 100% productivity. The end result every time is hundreds of thousands of dollars saved.
Our Housekeeping System is currently implemented in several Lower Mainland Hospitals in British Columbia.

Westech Systems FM, Inc, is a BC owned and operated company that for over two decades, has focused primarily on providing cleaning management solutions for large facilities all over North America. The cleaning management solutions and services that Westech provides are a combination of software, cleaning standards, data collection, consulting and cleaning audits. Moreover, it should be emphasized that Westech has never provided our clients with cleaners, managed any of our client€™s cleaning staff, sold any cleaning products or been affiliated with any contract cleaning companies and/or janitorial cleaning product companies. Westech is also a 100% indepedent and BC owned entity. Westech has worked in a symbiotic relationship with our sister company from Michigan since the late eighties and together we have provided solutions for many large companies in Canada and the United States. Since 1994 to the present Westech has developed detailed cleaning standards for many of the hospitals in BC which have been integrated into our comprehensive cleaning management software system. These cleaning standards were developed in conjunction with both board members and directors of the BC infection control board as well as incorporating standards used at other hospitals around North America.
In addition to providing our clients with turnkey systems to manage their in-house cleaning staff Westech also provides our clients an objective auditing service to measure the performance of their contract cleaning service and/or their in-house cleaning staff. Specifically, Westech€™s fully trained auditors visit our clients€™ sites approximately four times a year to take an objective assessment of the cleanliness of the facility. Our computerized auditing tool, which was first introduced in the early nineties, now uses the latest palm pilot technology, is extremely flexible and comes with many different reports enabling us to easily analyze and pinpoint problematic or positive aspects of our clients facility cleaning.
