As a small, independent publishing company, WomanKind Press seeks
to promote healthy, respectful relationships between individuals
and within families by publishing unique books by experienced
practitioners that take a self-help approach. Our focus is on
practical help that empowers people to make healthy choices for
themselves and their families. Unsolicited manuscript samples

WomanKind Press possesses several advantages including our small
size, and extensive professional contacts.
We are a small, home-based publisher. By maintaining a home
office and contracting out production along with key services,
overhead is kept very low. We publish books only one title at a
time (to a maximum of two per year), which allows us to give each
project our full attention, leaving little room for errors or
delays.
We have an extensive and expanding array of contacts among the
helping professions. These contacts among institutions and
community organizations provide reliable and immediate channels
for selling our books, as well as recruitment of professional
resources for the projects themselves.
