Before he ran it into the ground, Andrew Cousins, former President & CEO of Kawartha Lakes Brewing Company (KLB) raised money from local Peterborough private investors with the help of a Toronto-based Broker. Instead of using the money to expand KLB and pay its outstanding bills, he used the money for his own personal gain, stiffed the Broker for their commission and his private investors who had poured their life savings into KLB. When the house of cards that Cousins had built collapsed, he sold the rights to produce KLB's beers to Amsterdam Brewing Company in Toronto. His investors lost their life savings and Cousins rode off into the sunset. Ask any of the hard-working people and retirees who he screwed over and they'll tell you it's all true!

Incompetent, bad service for prices, don't practice what they preach. Don't trust him and conduct business with him. Be warned!!!
