PhotoChannel Networks Inc. is an Internet infrastructure company
providing web based applications for the photography industry
through the PhotoChannel Network, a Virtual Private Network
being developed as an open standard network for the transfer of
images between members of the Network, syndicated web-sites, web-
site content providers and their customers. The members of the
PhotoChannel Network are bricks and motar photo finishing retail

groups of operators, photo finishing specialty stores, or large

users and drive photo print traffic through retail member's
stores. PhotoChannel provides photofinishing related e-commerce
solutions to retailers for their customers, whether the customer
owns a digital camera, or is a traditional film customer who
wants to have their film digitized. The e-processing/e-commerce
function enables retailers to meet their customers changing
needs and to compete with the influx of online photo
operations. Through the syndicating of it's photo e-commerce
application to web properties, PhotoChannel is able to aggregate
digital camera users and image intensive strategic partner web
sites into an entity that is capable of delivering the customers
back into the PhotoChannel Network for fulfillment by the member
retailers. The PhotoChannel Network was commercially launched
in May 2001.
