TWN Wind Power Inc. is a distributor of Small and Community Wind turbines, and a wholly-owned company by the Tsleil-Waututh Nation. The company was launched in early 2011, and provides wind power energy solutions for communities.
The small wind turbines of 5kW and 50kW, are both ideal for First Nation communities throughout North America. The turbines are manufactured locally by Endurance Wind Power, based in Surrey, BC Canada. They have been engineered to produce a very high annual energy output, and can generate enough energy for up to 20 homes, or offset energy in schools, hospitals, casinos, health centres and other buildings.
