During the great depression people rebuilt automotive batteries.

to shortages. It was not until the mid 50`s when purchasing new
batteries became common. Mass production resulted in lower
prices for consumers.
Sanford Battery started manufacturing industrial batteries in
1960, under the product name of ElectraGlide.

quality products, unmatched customer service and rapid delivery.
