Aquinas Institute Corporation is a duly registered company that is anchored on the principles of the Catholic faith, knowledge and charity.
Our mission is to help people; to provide quality service to our clients; and to treat the people working with us with integrity, dignity and professionalism, as well as, to provide them with a happy working environment, a sense of belonging and competitive pay rates in the hope that their happiness with the Corporation would be extended to our clients and to their own respective families.
We are committed to the pursuit of excellence in interpretation - translation services; employment - immigration services; tourism services; management of conferences, events and special projects; publishing; and adult education - training. Aquinas Institute Corporation currently holds business licences for Interpreter and Translator, as well as, Immigration Consultant from the City of Vancouver.

The Corporation operates its business activities in a beautiful office at 808 - 938 Howe Street, Vancouver, B.C. V6Z 1N9 Canada. Its office is located in a modern, 11-storey building, which is directly opposite the B.C. Law Courts.

HISTORICAL ROOTS
Aquinas Institute was originally registered with the Government of British Columbia as a sole proprietorship in December 1997; however, it was only four years later in 2001 that it was able to start its business operations and it operated as a charitable organization from 2001 to 2005. The talents, time and efforts of its personnel were offered and used for charitable causes. Most of its acquired earnings were donated to various local, national and international charities.
Aquinas Institute was incorporated under the name of Aquinas Institute Corporation in September 2005 and officially started its business operations as a corporation in January 2006.
Aquinas Institute received the Papal Blessings of Pope Benedict XVI in 2006 through its spiritual adviser, Msgr. Pedro Lopez-Gallo, P.A. and the Papal Blessings of Pope John Paul II in 2000 through Fr. Paul Pang, one of the members of its voluntary advisory board.
The Corporation is dedicated to the Holy Family - Jesus, Mary and Joseph. It is committed to carry out its mission in ways that draw inspiration from the examples of the works of St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Therese of Lisieux, St. Anthony of Padua, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta and Pope John Paul II.

INTERPRETATION - TRANSLATION SERVICES
Aquinas Institute Corporation officially opened its interpretation - translation services section in January 2006. This section provides professional interpretation - translation services in 125 languages and dialects spoken in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East, North America and South America. Our main clientele includes the B.C. Courts in the Greater Vancouver Regional District and other parts of British Columbia, as well as, small, medium-sized and large legal firms.
We guarantee our interpretation services, i.e., if a client is not satisfied, we will not bill for the rendered services or we will give the client a credit for future services.
The over 500 interpreters registered with the Corporation have the following qualifications: - They are certified members or associate members of the Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia;
- They are interpreters accredited by the Ministry of the Attorney-General of the Province of British Columbia;
- They have completed the Court/Judicial/Legal Interpreting Seminar offered by our company; or
- They are graduates of Interpreting Programs in Canada, the United States, Europe and other parts of the world.
- They are native speakers of foreign languages.
- They speak English fluently.
- They hold a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or Ph. D. degree from universities in Canada, the United States and their native countries.
- They have very good interpersonal skills, a high level of professionalism and a strong desire to help people.
- They are committed to providing quality, accurate, clear, impartial, confidential, punctual and professional interpretation services.
We are also committed to providing accurate, clear and professional translation services. Only translators certified by the Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia are assigned to do translation services. If there is no STIBC certified translator in a foreign language, only an experienced translator is assigned to do translation services.
