Unique Applications: Brand Infiltration
Brand infiltration is a marketing practice that takes a specific approach to strategy, creativity and success tracking, where all three are driven by a thorough understanding of the business objective at hand. Brand infiltration insists that the organizational design of the marketing agency includes a team with broad skills, but that each staff member has creative and strategic leanings.
Companies that choose to work with Espresso don€™t need to go to several agencies to run a full campaign. As specialists in brand infiltration, we work with the client to select specific and customized marketing tactics, all managed through us. This can save clients a great deal of time and energy, but furthermore, consistency in strategy and messaging is much more likely to stay intact.
Espresso can lower your costs by servicing an entire campaign through one account team, rather than several. And with our clients€™ best interests always in mind, we choose the most effective methods to meet the overall campaign objectives.
Conversation Bytes
Conversation Bytes is Espresso€™s proprietary software, designed as a user friendly aggregator of online conversations. Both media and clients can benefit greatly from the software. Media can use it as a tool to quickly catch up on what people are saying about our clients and their products/services. Clients can use it to paint a picture of their overall market positioning€”who is talking about them, what are they saying, and what impact and reach are these conversations having.
Conversation Bytes is customizable based on each client€™s needs, and provides a comprehensive alternative to what is offered by traditional media monitoring.

Success Stories: Samsung - CLEO Integrated Launch
In 2008, Samsung€™s release of its compact QWERTY phone, CLEO, gave Espresso the opportunity to take the phone beyond its standard retail setting. By leveraging the handset€™s high style and visual appeal, Espresso built the integrated Kisses from CLEO program to take the phone to the runway, targeting teen girls. Pairing the phone with Cake Beauty and fashion designer Katya Revenko proved to be a good move - CLEO received a great response from the consumers and the fashion community, and resulted in strong pick-up by social media sites and blogs, including Engadget, Popgadget, Yahoo, and Torontoist.
United Way - GiveADamn.ca
Espresso is proud to be working with the United Way Toronto, and their youth focused GenNext program. GenNext was faced with the challenge of targeting young Torontonians and encouraging them to direct their volunteer and donation efforts towards their own communities. To help spread the word, Espresso and UW launched GiveADamn.ca - a unified space for young adults to learn about United Way programs in Toronto and to get involved. The site hosts blog posts, photos and videos created by United Way Toronto volunteers, gives tips on the impact of small donations, explains what The United Way does, and allows all visitors to submit content of their own. Most importantly, it€™s a way to get Toronto residents talking about something meaningful, and acting with community interests in mind.
Testimonial: The founders of Espresso have worked with Samsung€™s wireless division in a variety of functions since 1989. Over the years, the organization additionally came to serve other divisions within Samsung Electronics Canada. It is as Director of Operations of the Wireless Division, however, that I have had the opportunity to see the bulk of their efforts in web applications and maintenance.
Based on our needs, Espresso has developed a wide array of web and software applications. The most commonly used applications they have developed for our team include: 1. Channel Support Program: Espresso allowed us to more efficiently manage our Manufacturer€™s Development Funds through the channel by creating a comprehensive web application. Our sales staff can thus submit applications and all related proof of performance through this system, giving us both accounting appropriate backup and also allowing ease of management.
2. Point of Sale Program: Espresso built a custom application to help our sales team manage additional channel requirements by creating a program that interfaced with our warehouse€™s systems. This allows our corporate account managers to distribute inventory - from actual handsets to trinkets - amongst their staff so that all inventory is systematically tracked and extensive reporting can occur by team, manager, shipping costs, and type of product.
3. Employee Purchase Program: In order to help us sell in units at discounted rates to channel sales staff for training and development purposes, Espresso created an Employee Purchase Program, allowing us to allocate and sell strategically without intensive time commitment from our staff.
I would recommend Espresso€™s digital team to any company seeking an agency that listens to its clients, recognizes potential service gaps, and independently creates innovative solutions.

International Capital Projects: In the past, Espresso has worked on experiential and digital marketing efforts with US based companies such as Adidas, Sprint, and the American Heart Association in conjunction with the NFL.
With Adidas, Espresso developed an encompassing brand experience truck that stimulated the senses. Different stations allowed users to test their gaming skills, interact with holographic images, and create digital content all in one location.
Working with Sprint and Samsung, Espresso€™s proprietary software powered specially crafted LED displays. Set up to deliver branded messaging, the scrolling marquees in New York€™s Flatiron building caught the eyes of viewers as they passed by.
The American Heart Association and the NFL wanted to inspire entire classrooms to become more active and health conscious. Espresso developed an interactive program called What Moves U that worked with children and teachers in 45,000 schools across the USA. By incorporating activity into regular classroom routines, the program was able to bring awareness to the growing problem of childhood obesity.
Additionally, Espresso has recently opened a new US office based out of Boston, and anticipates healthy and steady growth in our US business relations.
