it uses the 3 vectors of the wind, it has a much better
efficiency, and allows for power generation with less wind that
the conventional wind mills. The Catavent and WindPorts can also
be used as a pumping unit, by the simple addition of a pumping
apparatus at the end of the main shaft. This makes a simple
unit, with fewer moving parts, easier to maintain and with a
much longer life span that electrical apparatus
